Hi I was wondering if anyone could help. I went to Battle Hill primary school, then went to what was once High Farm Middle school which got burnt down the year after I left. I was the last generation of year 8 to attend the school under that name before it turned into Burnside primary (I think), but my reason for being here is to ask if anyone has any photos of the school itself. I’ve looked for years and never been able to find any. Thank you

    Shaun

Yes, there was a Mr Lawlor. And then I think a Mrs Nellie Cosgrove. My mum was a teacher there: Mrs Jackson – for quite a few years. I was there in the 1960s.

      Hi Stan
My name is Phil. I was the year behind you. We met again in the early 70s in the “Hind Pub” Cramlington and had a few pints together. How are you doing
I am naturally retired now. I still have a home in Cramlington but am currently living in Thailand. Hope you are healthy and happy

      I don’t have photographs of the school , don’t think I could afford a camera then ,
but I do have memories . One of which was of my last teacher in that school before passing the 11+ . That teacher was a Mr Lawlor . Is that you or a family member ?
